The 4th Annual Lake Houston Tasting the Town event is the area’s premier food and beverage tasting event featuring the area’s most talented chefs, tastiest restaurants, accomplished caterers, and most popular wineries and breweries around. It is hosted this year by the Lake Houston Area Chamber. Presenting sponsor is The Gold Exchange, Wine Walk sponsor is HEB, Gourmet Chef sponsor is Which Wich Superior Sandwiches and the Sous Chef sponsor is Smashburger.
 
This year top area chefs will be presenting food cooking tips, a “food blogging and media café” where food writers will be on hand writing about their favorite dishes, and a booth and food judging contest. There will also be a “Wine Walk” where wine lovers and connoisseurs can sample their favorite vintage, and key media from all the local radio, television and newspapers will be attending to cover the event. There will be plenty of activities to entertain and delight, plus vendors’ handing out beverages at the event’s designated beverage stations.
