Yonge street has a couple of options for Korean food (being the longest street in the world means you tend to have more than one of things). The choice boils down to quantity versus quantity: both Korean Grill Time and Yummy Bar-B-Q have plenty of both, but if you're prepared to sacrifice all-you-can-eat for even tastier food, go for the latter.
The giant menu covers an entire wall, complete with appetite-inducing photos, and for those in a high-capacity mood the Pot Lid Grill brings a sizzling mass of desperately delicious food to your table. The spicy ribs are truly the reason the world ever bothered with anything but plants - the juicy meat to tear with your teeth and little bone handholds so you don't waste time with things like "cutlery". Meat first, manners later, and if you disagree it's only because you've never eaten anything this good.
You can ramp up the Korean-component of your meal with a measure of Soju - the Korean rice-spirit even sharper than Sake (though some of you flinching at the word might not count that as a good thing). I would recommend that only as a closer to the meal; with such wonderfully flavorful food, you don't want to be carpet-bombing your tongue with alcohol while eating.
If you want to check for authenticity, ask about dessert options. "There are none", I was told "There aren't any with this kind of food." So look elsewhere if you want your Baesook or Wha Jeon, but come here if you want a great big plate of lovely food.
And who doesn't?
Yummy Bar-B-Q is located at 498 Yonge St.
