How I learned to cook
As a little girl I was always in the kitchen when food was being prepared. I loved food and watching my mom, aunt, or step-mother prepare meals was a joy. When I was 8 years old I was visiting my dad for a while and it was just he and I. He called me from work and said "T, I am on my home and I want you to cook dinner." He gave me instructions and stayed on the phone until I had put the food in the oven. He enjoyed it and once he took me home and told my mother what I had did, she had preparing dinner quite often.
