About me
I love trying new food or different restaurants and I at least eat things twice if I don't like or even more because you never know when your taste buds will change! I created a Food Club in April 2008 called the Vancouver Taster's Brigade(or VTB for short) and so far it's still going every 2 weeks or so with about 10 ppl coming for each meet.
How I learned to cook
I'm slowly learning to cook since I moved out of my parent's house. I can follow recipes(usually XD) so it's pretty good. Although I love making cookies and the like, because they are so delish.

"After I took this out of the oven and placed it in front of my 4 friends they gobbled it up in less than 10 minutes. Least to say, they liked it a lot. "

"During Hat's Off Day, they had a little booth outside and we tried thier pad thai. It was sooo delicious. A couple weeks later we went to eat lunch there and I was disappointed that it wasn't up to par with their previous pad thai. I don't think I'll..."

"Definately a mexican taste, but I also put in a red hot pepper to make it a little more peppy. It's a great soup and if I'm ever in the mood for mexican, I'll make it again :)"

"Definitely one to try. I loved the cheese because when it melted, it stuck to the chicken pieces and tasted so good with it. It didn't take too long and I doubled the recipe to make for 8 but surprisingly it was just enough for us and we finished it..."

"I always love going to the GUU because of their atmosphere, great food and drinks. Whenever an order is ready from the kitchen they yell out in Japanese which table. I think since it is a tapa restaurant, it is best to order more than one dish and..."

"I've always loved bubble tea places that do fresh fruit bubble tea because I really don't like the powdered ones. :) Also the pearls are good and chewy instead of previous stands where they are still hard in the middle and hurt when you throw it at..."

"Kintaro has always been a small restaurant with not many seats but their atmosphere is the best. Although the aesthetics of the place could use a nicer paint job, the food is always delicious. When I go I like to sit at the stool-counter seats where..."

"Whenever I goto Lotus Café, Mrs. Azizzadeh always has a smile and a friendly face to give. She's always suggests good items on her sandwich menu and seems like a caring mother. She encouraged me to have a breaded chicken sandwich (can't remember what..."

"I've been to Lemongrass before and I have to say the Satay chicken was disappointing this time. I don't know if it was just me, but it seemed like the servers didn't want us to be there. We decided to sit on the patio because of the nice weather. The..."

"The ambiance of this restaurant was great! I really liked the J-pop music and the atmosphere was nice and enjoyable. Although the gyoza wasn't very good, I enjoyed my shoyu ramen. It was very affordable but you would have to add in a bit to get more..."
