Baked Japanese Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 4 egg yolks, raw
  • 1/4 cup milk, whole, 3.5%, homogenized, w/add vit d
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tablesppon flour, all purpose, bleached, enrich
  • 4 egg whites, raw

Recipe Method

1. Perheat the oven to 150C. Line 1 8" cake tin with baking paper. Put cream cheese, butter and 50g of the sugar into a mixing bowl beat it together until creamy. And then add egg yolk, milk and vanilla, mix it well. After that sift in flour and fold gently into the mixture and set aside.
2. Use another mixing bowl and whisk the egg white with the remaining sugar until stiff. Fold the egg white gently into the cheese mixture. Pour the mxture into the perpared cake tin. And bake in water bath at 150C for 60 minutes.

Grease and line 1 8" cake tin.
