  • 1 cup unsalted butter or margerine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces chopped pecans
  • 48 graham crackers

Recipe Method

1- Preheat oven to 350 F.

2- Arrange the graham wafer crackers on a baking sheet.

3- Blend 1 cup of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar in a sauce pan.

4- Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Boil for 2 min. and keep stirring to avoid sticking and burning.

5- Remove from heat and add 1 tsp. vanilla and the chopped pecans.

5- Pour over the grahams and bake for 6-8 minutes.

6- Cut or break into pieces when completely cooled and firm.
