1. Combine soya sauce, pineapple juice, garlic and ginger in a dish that will just hold the chicken wings. Add chicken wings and marinate several hours, turning often.
2. Heat oven to 350 ?F (175 ?C). Grease a shallow baking dish about 12 x 7 x 2 inches (30.5 x 18 x 5 cm).
3. Lift chicken wings out of marinade and put in prepared baking dish. Add pineapple to marinade and heat to boiling. Pour over chicken. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until chicken is very tender, basting often.
4. Put chicken wings on serving plate and keep hot. Heat chicken stock to boiling and pour it into baking pan, stirring to blend any browned bits in pan into chicken stock. Pour into a saucepan and heat to boiling. Combine cold water and cornstarch, stirring until smooth. Stir into boiling liquid gradually. Boil 1 minute. Pour over chicken wings. Serve with rice.
Note: If prepared, put sauce in 2 small dishes and serve as a dunking sauce with chicken wings.
