  • 1 1/2 pounds linguini
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 9 garlic cloves mnced
  • 2 pounds large shrimp (deveined and peeled)
  • 1/2 tsp fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 zest of a lemon grated
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (4 lemons)
  • 1/2 lemon thinly sliced in half rounds
  • 1/4 tsp hot red pepper flakes

Recipe Method

1. Cook pasta so it’s al denté.

2. In another large, heavy-bottomed pan, melt the butter and olive oil over medium-low heat.

3. Add the shrimp. Sauté for 1 minute. Add salt and pepper and sauté until the shrimp have just turned pink.

4. Remove from the heat. Add parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, lemon slices and red pepper flakes. Toss to combine.

5. When the pasta is done, add it to the sauce and shrimp. Toss well and serve.
