1. In a medium bowl stir together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt and pumpkin pie spice. Make a well in the centre of the flour mixture.
2. In another medium bowl combine milk, pumpkin, eggs and oil. Add milk mixture all at once to the flour mixture. Stir just until moistened (batter should be lumpy).
3. Pour about 3/4 cup batter onto grid of a preaheated, lightly greased waffle baker. Close lid quickly; do not open lid until waffle is done. Bake according to manufacturers directions. When done, use a fork to lift waffle off grid. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve warm. If desired, top with orange sections.
