  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 3/4 cup banana (not overripe), mashed
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard

Recipe Method

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine beef, bread crumbs, onion, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.

3. Combine banana and dry mustard. Add to beef mixture. Mix thoroughly. Shape into loaf.

4. Place in baking dish with water or baking dish lined with foil. Bake 1 hour or until done.
