  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 (6-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp rum or vanilla flavoring
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Recipe Method

1. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, evaporated milk and butter.

2. Cook and stir over low heat until sauce is smooth and syrupy, about 5 minutes. Stir in flavoring and pecans.
