2 1/2 cups mixed raw shelled whole nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts, pecans)
Recipe Method
1. Preheat the oven to 375
Fahrenheit.
2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and lightly grease the foil with butter.
3. In a small bowl combine the sugar, spices, salt and pepper. In a medium bowl, whisk the egg white until frothy. Add the sugar mixture and whisk to blend. Whisk in the orange zest. Add the nuts and stir until thoroughly coated. Spread the nuts on the prepared pan in an even layer. Place in the oven and bake, stirring every 10 minutes to loosen them, until golden, about 30 minutes.
4. Remove from oven and let cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
