10 cups sweet onion (about 4 large) thinly sliced

4 garlic cloves minced

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Recipe Method
1. Melt
butter in a
large nonstick
skillet over medium heat. Add
sugar to
pan; cook 1 minute or until
sugar dissolves.
2. Add onion and garlic to pan. Cover and cook 30 minutes or until onions are very tender, stirring occasionally. Uncover, add vinegar to onion mixture.
3. Cook, uncovered, 10 minutes or until golden, stirring frequently. Stir in salt and pepper.
