1. Sprinkle both sides of steaks with 1 1/4 teaspoons of the seasoning. Place steaks on rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium coals. Grill until desired doneness, turning once halfway through grilling time. Allow 12 to 16 minutes for medium-rare (145 F.) or 16 to 20 minutes for medium (160 F.). Transfer steaks to a serving platter.
2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine sour cream, mustard, chives and remaining 1/4 teaspoon seasoning. Spoon sour cream mixture over steaks.
