  • 6-inch soft or crusty bread roll (try a baguette, rye, or multigrain bread)
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 4 beef pastrami slices, cooked
  • cucumber
  • tomato slices
  • red onion rings
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • mozzarella shaved

Recipe Method

1. First, grab a 6-inch soft or crusty bread roll (try a baguette, rye, or multigrain bread) and slice horizontally in half. Spread 1 tablespoon mustard on the other.

2. To assemble: Top a bread slice with 3 to 4 cooked beef pastrami slices, cucumber and tomato slices, and red onion rings.

3. Drizzle with a small amount of olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Top with shaved mozzarella and the remaining bread slice.
