For the filling
-
1/2 cup butter

1 cup powdered sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoons instant coffee dissolved in 2 tablespoons hot milk cooled
For the topping

1 cup all-purpose cream chilled

1/2 cup chocolate chips
For the crust
-
1 cup flour
-
3 tablespoons cocoa
-
1/3 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter
-
2 tablespoons nuts finely chopped
Recipe Method
Make the
crust:
1. Place the flour, cocoa, and sugar in a bowl and cut in the butter to form a dough.
2. Stir in the nuts.
3. Press onto the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate or tart pan and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius) for 15 minutes.
4. Remove and let cool.
Make the filling:
1. Mix together the butter and powdered sugar.
2. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the dissolved coffee.
3. Spread on pie crust then freeze until firm.
4. Spread the cream over the filling and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
