Simple homemade chocolate chip cookies.
1. Preheat the oven to 190C. Grease two baking trays and line with non-stick baking paper. Using electric beaters, beat the butter, sugar,
2. Add eggs gradually and continue mixing for 3 minutes on medium speed.
3. Add the flour and half the chocolate. Using a metal spoon, stir until just combined. Use your hands to press the mixture toghether to form a soft dough.
4. Roll level tablespoons of the mixture into balls. Press the remaining chocolate firmly onto the tops of the balls.
5. Arrange the balls on the tray, leaving room for spreading. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until crisp and lightly browned, and then cool on the trays.
