A simple yet delicious dish which will have you craving for more chinese dishes.
1. Sliced the beef as thin as possible to ensure quick and even cooking time.
2. Marinade the beef in a bowl with the soy sauce, garlic, cornstarch and sesame oil and leave in fridge for at least 20 minutes.
3. In a small pot boil some water. Once the water starts to boil add the broccoli florets and blanch them for 30 seconds before straining them.
4. In a wok, add 1 tbsp of oil and start to stir fry your ginger and green onions for a few seconds, before adding the beef. Continue to cook the beef for another 3 minutes.
5. Add your broccoli and cook for 1 minute or two before adding your chicken stock with the dissolved cornstarch in it to thicken the sauce.
6. Lower to simmer and cook for a few more minutes before serving.
