  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1/2 tsp unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe Method

1. In small microwave-safe bowl, combine water and gelatin; let stand for 5 minutes. Microwave on high for 1 minute, until gelatin dissolves; cool for 5 minutes.

2. In a medium bowl, combine sour cream and gelatin mixture.

3. In a separate bowl, beat cream, sugar, and vanilla extract at medium speed with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Fold cream mixture into sour cream mixture until combined. Cover and chill.
