Baked Halibut Limone

Ingredients

  • 3 pound Halibut cut into 6 serving, 3/4 inch thick Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp Cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup parsley Minced
  • 1/2 cup Seasoned bread crumbs
  • 4 lemon sliced,plus 2 more thinly sliced for garnish
  • 1 tbsp butter, unsalted

Recipe Method

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Sprinkle both sides of fish with salt and pepper and paprika.
3. Place fish in a buttered shallow baking dish and sprinkle with garlic, parsley and breadcrumbs.
4. Slice only 2 of the lemons and place lemon slices on fish and add water almost to top of fish.
5. Bake uncovered 20-30 minutes until fish is firm and crumbs are golden brown.
6. Remove lemon slices, dot with butter and place under broiler until browned. Garnish with new thin lemon slices.
