Danish Butter Cookies

You can use different shapes of piping tube to pipe out the cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/5 cup butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 cup Icing sugar
  • 2 eggs, whole
  • 8 tsp milk, skim, powder, regular
  • 1 2/5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/5 cup flour, cake, white, enrich, unsifted
  • 2/5 cup flour, bread, unenrich

Recipe Method

1. Perheat the oven 180C. Line 2 trays with baking paper. Beat up icing sugar and butter until light and smooth in a mxing bowl.
2. Add eggs slowly and beat to smooth, add milk powder and then vanilla extract mix it well and smooth.
3. Sift in flour into the butter mixture and mix well
4. Spoon mixture into a piping bag and using a round tube, pipe the mixture in rosettes in diameter onto the tray. Bake at 180C for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp. Cool on a wire rack.
