Garlic & Herb Shrimp Saute

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce-weight shrimp
  • 1 cooking spray, 1/3 sec spray
  • 1/3 cup onion, green, chpd, fresh
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp basil, oregano or tarragon
  • 2 tbsp dry sherry or dry white wine
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice, raw
  • 1/4 tsp salt, table
  • 1/4 tsp spice, pepper, black, ground
  • 1 tbsp herb, parsley, fresh, chpd

Recipe Method

1. Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tails intact (if desired). Rinse shrimp and pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.

2. Coat an unheated large nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat over medium heat. Add shrimp, green onions, garlic and herb. Cook and stir for 2 to 4 minutes or until shrimp are opaque. Carefully add sherry or white wine, lemon juice, salt and pepper to pan. Cook and stir just until heated through. Stir in parsley.
