Easy to make you own pie shell. It can use for any pie. For example, apple pie, pumpkin pie, etc..
1. Place flour and shortening in a big mixing bowl, mix is for 1 minuteon on low speed, or until coarse gravel mixture is obtained.
2. Dissolve salt and sugar in water and add in to the flour mixture.
3. Mix until all ingredients are blended and dought is smooth. The quicker the dough is mixed the flakier is the crust. Pie dough is easier to roll if refrigerated for 1 hour before using.
