1. In a 4 to 5-quart slow cooker, combine tomatoes, water, frozen green beans, French onion soup and sausage.
2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours.
3. If using low setting, turn up to high. Stir cabbage and tortellin into soup. Cover and cook for 15 minutes more. Serve with parmesan cheese.
