Spinach, Chicken & Wild Rice Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 cup water, tap
  • 14 fluid ounce broth, chicken, light, fat free, rducd sod, cnd
  • 10 1/2 fluid ounce soup, cream of chicken, 98% fat free, cond, cnd
  • 2/3 cup rice, wild, dry
  • 1/2 tsp herb, thyme, leaves, ground
  • 1/4 tsp spice, pepper, black, ground
  • 1 pound chicken or turkey (3 cups) chopped, cooked
  • 2 cup spinach, fresh, chpd

Recipe Method

1. In a 3 1/2 or 4-quart slow cooker combine the water, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, uncooked wild rice, thyme and pepper.

2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 7 to 8 hours or on high-heat setting for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Just before serving, stir in chicken or turkey and spinach.
