  • 30 fluid ounce black beans rinsed and drained
  • 28 fluid ounce tomatoes, diced, canned undrained
  • 16 ounce-weight frozen stir-fry vegetables (yellow, green & red peppers and onions)
  • 2 cups okra, frozen cut
  • 3 tsp seasoning, cajun
  • 3 cup rice, brown, long grain, ckd

Recipe Method

1. In a 3 1/2 to 4 1/2-quart slow cooker combine the beans, tomatoes, frozen vegetables, okra and Cajun seaoning.

2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 6 to 8 hours or for 3 to 4 hours on high. Serve on hot cooked brown rice.
