Hungarian Goulash

Ingredients

  • 3 cup onion, white, fresh, chpd
  • 1 1/2 cup peppers, bell, green, sweet, fresh, chpd
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 3 pound beef, stew meat cut into 1
  • 1 tomato paste, 6oz can
  • 1/2 cup water, tap
  • 4 tsp spice, paprika, sweet, hungarian
  • 1/4 tsp salt, table
  • 1/4 tsp spice, pepper, black, ground
  • 6 cup pasta hot cooked noodles

Recipe Method

1. In a 3 1/2 or 4-quart slow cooker combine onions, sweet peppers and garlic. Top with meat. In a small bowl combine tomato paste, water, paprika, salt and black pepper. Pour over meat.

2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 10 to 12 hours or on high for 5 to 6.

3. Serve over hot cooked noodles.
