Ingredients

  • 2 tsp oil, sunflower
  • 2 onion peeled and chopped
  • 1 Clove garlic crushed
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 ounce-weight raisins, golden, seedless
  • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
  • 8 ounce-weight red lentils
  • 300 ml milk, whole, 3.5%, homogenized, w/add vit d
  • 1 tbsp vinegar, cider
  • 1 tsp pepper, black
  • 1 tsp salt, table

Recipe Method

1. Heat the oil in a pan and gently fry the onions for 8 minutes. Add the garlic and fry for a further 2 minutes.

2. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Place the mixture in a large greased oven proof dish and cover with foil. Cook in the oven at 350F
