I use flank steak a lot because I like to marinate. This steak you can slice thinly and roll up in iceberg lettuce.
1- In small bowl whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, vinegar, sugar, oil, ginger and garlic. Pour over flank steak and let marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours. Bring to room temperature before cooking.
2- In large nonstick skillet or you can BBQ or char broiler cook flank steak to desired doneness.
3- Saute mushrooms and garlic in oil until soft. Add green onions and cook one minute longer.
