easy, moist and delicious

Dark, rich , moist banana loaf. Doesn't need butter or spread of any kind. Great with coffee in the morning or tea in the afternoon!!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour sifted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/5 pound shortening
  • 3 bananas, raw or equivelent to 1 cup mashed
  • 2 eggs

Recipe Method

1- Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.

2- Fold liquid ingredients into dry very quickly but do not over mix.

3- Pour mixture into a lightly greased loaf pan and bake at 350F for 40-50 minutes until golden brown.
