With soda crackers as a base it sounds weird but it works and taste awesome.
1- Place crackers side by side on a greased or sprayed 9" x 15"cookie sheet. You can also use parchment paper.
2- Sprinkle almonds over the crackers.
3- Melt butter slowly to avoid burning. Add the sugar and bring to a boil stirring constantly for 3-4 minutes.
4- Drizzle over the almonds as evenly as possible. Bake in a 350 F. oven for 6 minutes.
5- Remove from oven and spread the chocolate chips over evenly. Leave sitting for a few minutes to melt the chocolate and spread evenly over all.
6- Cut into sections while the are still warm. If you are careful, you can cut them where they join together.
