Sausage Noodle Casserole

My mother used to make this and if she could do it, anyone can. Serve it with your favorite salad.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce-weight noodles
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 1/2 cup peppers, bell, red yellow & green, sweet, strips, fzn
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can soup, cream of mushroom, cond, cnd
  • 1/4 cup cracker crumbs enough to cover noodles
  • 1/4 cup butter enough to cover cracker crumbs

Recipe Method

1- Cook noodles according to package directions and drain.

2- Cut sausages into 1 inch pieces and brown with onions and green peppers.

3- Layer half the noodles in a greased casserole, add the sausage mixture, and top with the rest of the noodles.

4- Spread the mushroom soup evenly over the noodles.

5- Melt some butter and add the crushed cracker crumbs to coat evenly. Spread over the noodles.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350 F. until the top is nicely browned.
