1- Grease the bottom of 9x9 cake pan or 9 inch spring form pan. If layered version is preferred, grease & line a
2- Press half (or third if layering) of crushed oreo cookie into bottom of pan for crust.
3- Dissolve gelatin into cold water. let stand 5 min.
4- Heat milk, sugar & beaten egg yolk until foamy not boiling. Let cool to room temp.
5- Add milk mixture to gelatin, add vanilla & salt.
6- Refrigerate mixture until very cold but not set (one hour).
7- Once the gelatin mixture is cold whip cream until stiff. Fold into gelatin.
8- Beat egg whites until stiff, fold in also.
9- Spread this over the crust and top with remaining Oreo's. Chill several hours until well set.
Slice and enjoy, but be careful..you can't resist having MORE!
