  • 1/2 pound unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 pound light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter good quality
  • 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips optional

Recipe Method

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

1- In a bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

2- Add the eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and peanut butter, and mix.

3- Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt and add to batter, mixing only till it is combined.

4- Fold in chocolate chunks.

5- Drop dough on baking sheet lined with parchment paper (or spray pan with pam) by the tablespoon. Flatten dough slightly with fork, and bake for 17 minutes.

6- The cookies will seem a little underdone but this is a good thing!.

Let cool slightly before removing them from the pan.
