Barbecued Hoisin Wings

A sure crowd pleaser and you don't have to mess up your oven.

Barbecue season is just around the corner and these unique tasting wings are a nice change from the ordinary barbecued variety. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3 pound raw chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hot pepper sauce
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tsp orange peel finely grated
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced

Recipe Method

1- Separate the wings into two pieces or leave whole. Remove tips and save for chicken stock.

2- For the sauce, stir all the ingredients together.

3- Place wings on lightly greased grill over medium high heat.

4- Grill about 8 to 10 minutes on each side. Don't burn. Turn frequently, brushing with sauce during the last five minutes of grilling.
