i had the chicken sandwich, it was good but too much bread and the meat was too processed. the drink was flat and the fries were a little mushy. the attendant wasn't so friendly either. usually i eat the chicken which is generally good
very efficient service all the time, the chicken is crispy & tasty that's why i and my family keep coming back.
Perfect food for family gatherings, the kids likes it a lot. The chicken is always fresh and well done. My family and friends are regular customers in this restaurant.

I ordered 3 thighs, 3 breasts, 1 large box fries, 1 med gravy and 1 large coleslaw to go.
Brought them home and the breasts were so small, all 3 of them would equal 1 regular sized breast.

the chicken is crispy & juicy, never dry; the crunchy batter feels light and the price is decent (although they've raised the price over the years -- used to be less than $10 for 10 pieces, now it's around $13-14 for 10 pieces), but overall it's worth it. Always have sudden craving for church's chicken =)
the chicken is very well cooked and still juicy, the fries are well done but soft inside. and you can digest your food well in this place as happy people are around you and you can hear the staff's crunchy laughter(yep it isnt only their chicken that's crunchy) and you feel so light inside when you are ready to go home as light as your pocket as you spent a lot. Prices are a bit high.
i love the crispy chicken skin dipped in vinegar. the hot fries are also good when you dip it in jalapeno cream sauce which is only 25 cents. it is a nice safe place here.
the food is alright especially the chicken, the people who serve you are not annoying, the place is not a mess, and the music is not loud. a place where you can eat that isnt a hassle.

Iit"s so nice dining here because of the good aura that surrounds the store. When you enter you are greeted with a "Hi there" in a singsong voice and you can see a smiling face ready to take your order. They greet you politely and you are treated like royalty. They address each customer with a sir and ma'm. Your appetite increases with greetings like this that you begin to order like a king.
You order a sumptuos feast of those delicious chicken, with a box of fresh fries, and those soft dinner rolls with butter, the tasty gravy, and dont forget the apple pies. In the middle of your feast, a lady goes out to check on all of you asking each one if you are having a good time with their food. You can either compliment or complain. Best people here.
This church's branch is one of our fav. as here you get freshly cooked chicken, a clean place, and friendly servers. We have been to 3 or 4 other branches but this one has the cleanest freshest food as well as the place and the best customer service.

After reading the reviews here, it shouldnt be a wonder why this store has the best customer service. One of their server is my classmate from Kindergarten to high school and she had been Public Relations Officer of our class every year. She has the gift of gab.

I love fried chicken and the taste of church's chicken is what i like. It is almost like homemade chicken...fresh, hot and crispy.

this place has good chicken and tasty rice but most of all it has good servers. i was so impressed with the lady server who understood sign language. she was serving a customer who didnt speak english well and i didnt even know how they understood each other but she was so attentive that she was able to figure out the customer's order. Everyone was fascinated watching her pointing at the pictures on their menu board with a stick. This is how helpful their servers are. I recommend this place to everyone especially to those who have difficulty in communicating in english.
The food is good but the price depends on the servings you get. There is a server who gives so little fries and doesnt care if the chicken she gives are very small pieces. If you are lucky, there is a server who gives you large servings and has the patience to pick the big pieces just to please you. When you are lucky enough to be served by the caring server, then the price is reasonable i guess. Not all their crew are the same. There are some good ones and some who simply doesnt care.
No doubt about it...church's chicken has the tastiest chicken. Fries, rice, corn, salads, pies,gravy,etc....all are good and suits my taste.
What makes this location likeable is the simplicity of the place. It is well arranged that it has lots of room for such a small store. The mirrors in their dining makes the whole place brighter and bigger. The color of their floor tiles are light which gives the place an aura of cleanliness. Everything seem to be in place and they played the bright colors well in their washroom doors and their neon lights. I am an art student that is why i am very particular with the interior design of each restaurant i go to. This place has been designed for easy maintenance. Good job!

The chicken are cooked well, has a healthy taste(not salty)and it smells so good. The tables are wiped well and it doesnt feel oily. Their trays are washed well...you can see the lady wiping it dry on the counter so you know it is really being washed. In some fastfood, I saw that they just put it back again for customers to use by just wiping it. When I ordered a sandwich I saw that they use gloves when making it and not just using their hands like in some other fast food. I am impressed with the cleanliness of this store. Their cooking area which can be seen from the counter is always clean. Every now and then you can see them sweeping and mopping. And of course the washrooms are noticeably clean and smells good. The crew are doing their job conscientiously.
Chicken is crispy and not salty. Fries are hot and gravy is warm. Condiments are complete, dining is always clean...even window ledges are dust free.Most of all the crew are friendly and serves fast. Two thumbs up!

What impressed me in this self service fast food is that when you have an order that needs a 3 or 4 minute wait, they would just bring out your order and not let you stand again to get it from the counter.
When one orders hot wings, the crew gives you a drink on the house. When you order for something and you have to wait a little as they cook it per order, you get free drinks.
Chicken is served hot and crispy. Coleslaw is cold and crunchy. French fries dipped in gravy is the best. Their combo meal can fill you up till dinnertime.
The service is quick,staff are patient and considerate, place is clean.
The chicken is well cooked and tastes good. The rice is just right..soft and tender but not sloppy. I like the apple pie better here than the ones in McDonalds. The place is small but well arranged that it seems larger than it actually is. It has a bright atmosphere as it has large mirrors on the walls. No silly decorations like fake flowers or the like. I like the simplicity and cleanliness of the place.

The chicken here is worth its price. The pieces are larger than those at KFC. Sometimes when there are really small pieces, the staff are considerate and they give you an extra piece. You will really leave this place satisfied. Hats off to their customer service.

For vegetarians like me, i eat their hot fries, coleslaw, bombers,and apple pie. So good. Best food, fast service, and friendly servers.
No chicken is ever as good as church's chicken in 108. The food here is prepared and cooked very cleanly. You can smell, feel, and taste the cleanliness of the chicken......smells nice,not greasy,and delicious to eat.

I look at the reviews and I agree to most of the things said here. They have the best chicken in surrey, have quick service and a clean place.
In our last christmas party, everyone feasted on Church's chicken. It was so good, so tender yet crispy. It disappeared so fast. We were intrigued. I learned that one of our member's wife works in church's 108. So now in all of ex PLDT's parties, church's chicken is the main menu.
We go to surrey for 2 things...the siopao in Newton and Church's chicken. The chicken here is so good, so right for our taste..not salty and the skin is so crispy. It is worth our trip and of course we visit their friendly staff whom one is a classmate in college.
The best chicken is here! Large pieces you would think its turkey but it is juicy unlike turkey which is dry. rice or fries goes well with it together with a cup of ice cold pop which is refillable.

We love the chicken here because it tastes like real fried chicken. You have lots of choices for the sides and when you get tired of the fries, eat the rice, if not get the corn or salads or bread. Their prices are reasonable especially their promos.
I like the clean fresh taste of their chicken. It is not greasy at all. The smell of zero transfat oil is so appetizing and knowing that it is zero transfat makes it more delicious.
The chicken here is fresh and hot and the fries are so good. Depends on who serves but most of them give large portions of fries. I am a regular here and i know who gives an ample amount and those who looks like they dont want to part with their fries. Just avoid being served by these people. All in all the food is excellent, quick service, and nice people.
I love travelling and one restaurant ive eaten to that was unforgettable was church's chicken in 108, surrey. They served me fresh crispy chicken with gravy and those sweet corn on a cob..and yes they still give you free water as much as you can drink.. Not so many restaurants now give free water. The servers are accomodating and friendly.
I often go to this location as it is convenient for me. I always order the big box of chicken (20 pcs) and it stays fresh even when you reach home.
The chicken in 108 is a lot better than the one we have here in Cerritos. I tried the ones here in Cerritos and I never came back. It was so dry unlike the ones in 108 which is juicy. I often go there for business and i never fail to drop by. Their store there is clean and well kept. Inside and outside, the store is clean. And of course the staff gives me the red carpet...my friend works there.

the best chicken - Church's chicken!
The chicken here is fresh and served hot. There are so many food to choose from...they have sandwiches - regular breast which is real breast fillet(not processed chicken) the spicy thigh also real thigh fillet and the chicken burger, which kids love. Lots of sides that you wouldnt know what to take. Their staff suggests the best deal they have.
The chicken is cooked to perfection...the best fried chicken you will ever taste. The simple goodness of chicken is what i look for and church's chicken is like that.
I remembered wanting to go to Quizno's for a sub. I didnt know I was in church's chicken, which was their next door neighbor. I was about to leave but this lady sales talked me into their sandwich combo. From that day on, I never went back to Quizno's cos like she said, church's chicken also sells sandwiches but quizno's doesnt have chicken.
This place serves good food just like in any other places. Their chicken are not really that extraordinary as I have read in the reviews here. Their specialty here is excellent public relations. Don't be fooled by those smiles and sing song voices...you will wonder how you were talked to in buying an apple pie and gravy and coleslaw when all you wanted was 2 pieces of chicken.
I read all the comments and people missed another good thing about this store. This store not only serves good chicken, clean, quick service, but has a staff that goes out of her way to please their customers. She would take the time to look at the yellow pages to find the number i have been looking for. she would also take the time to call a taxi for me. The staff here do extra stuff for customers.
I like this store as they are very quick to respond. When you have no plans at all of cooking and you suddenly need like 50 pcs of chicken for a short notice party simply dial their number 604 5845550 and order 50 pcs of chicken. In 20 minutes you pick it up and you never got tired of cooking. I recommend this place for short notice big orders!!!!
This place saves me from boredom while i wait for my wife to finish shopping from nearby liquidation world. You can have a cup of freshly brewed coffee with a newspaper to read which you can even bring home for free and chomp on 2 pieces of crispy wow legs and you have soft music in the background. Ahh..this is the life until i see my wife with loads of shopping bags coming.grrrr....
Chicken here is really good, as well as the rest of their food. Everyone will like this simple clean place with huge smiles on every face. What more could you ask from 108? You come out so full from the delicious food you ate!
I have been going here for 5 years already and the chicken is always the same fresh and hot and juicy. The fries used to have salt but not they dont put salt anymore. There are a few changes in their menu cos before i really liked their roasted chicken and zucchini. They replaced it with Texas chicken which i also loved and now they have spicy chicken. Though the menu have some little changes, the staff had been consistent. They had always been polite and friendly and so warm as warm as the food they serve. Their staff come and go but the regular servers are the best ones.

I just love church's chicken specifically in 108. The chicken is fresh, crispy and tender inside. The fries are big and the gravy is made just right not like soup. This restaurant is spic and span...everything in place, so small and yet so spacious.
When you are in a hurry to go home, drop by at this location cos even if you are just going down from your car they are already packing your order. Order the same thing everytime you come here and you will get very quick service. The staff are doing their job well and they know their customers by first names. They also know our preference...6 legs and 4 thighs.
I was introduced by my cousin to this store as his wife works here. You can see the chicken being prepared and cooked in front of you and they serve it hot and crispy. The fries, bombers, and chicken burgers which my kids love are all cooked fresh if you have 2 or 3 minutes to spare. Not only does their chicken smell good but also their washroom.
I like going here in the afternoons around 2:30 as it isnt so busy. I tried going around 11:30 and it is so full of students you hardly have any seat left.
At this time, the place is very clean too as they had just finished tidying up. The chicken is fresh and hot and the corn on the cob is very sweet and tender. Even if it isnt in season they have corn whole year round.
I go to this branch every morning and I am familiar with the staff (usually there are 2 of them but sometimes there are 3)Maybe the reason why their chicken is so good is because it is served with the intention to please. If you have a little complaint, this lady is so apologetic you just wish you hadn't complained at all. You get free drinks too in a little white cup if you order for something that will make you wait a bit.
I recommend this place to everyone. The chicken here in this location is really cooked fresh in front of you. They serve it hot and crispy and the fries are also fresh from the stove.

The chicken here is very delicious...pieces are big especially the thighs and the wings. Just a piece of chicken w' fries and a drink that is my lunch when i am short of dough.....they give you lots of fries in this branch and you are already full and not to forget a free refill on your pop. clean place, nice people
I remembered why i was so impressed w/ this store. The first time I came I thought I was in an airport. There were 3 or 4 people who greeted me at once with hi, hello, hi there, and welcome to church's.They were all wearing white polo shirts and the girls had ribbons while the guy was in a necktie. They looked impeccably well dressed. All were very polite and friendly and the service was so quick. The food was all fresh and hot and they gave out samples of food. They should bring back that kind of uniform.
My friends and I hang out here every Tuesday. There is a happy, exciting atmosphere in this place. We get to eat fresh food and talk with the server just about anything and the place is clean.
The location of this store is convenient for shoppers. After going to nearby liquidation, i wouldnt miss eating fresh hot chicken with fresh fries and their chicken gravy is so good. You get quick service but it depends on who is the server for that day. Most days the place is clean..again it depends on who is working that time.

The best time to go there is opening time as all the food is fresh from the stove and it is still quiet. After the lunch rush is also a good time. One time I was the very first customer to arrive and the lady gave me an extra piece of chicken for my 10 pcs for being the first customer. They bring fun and surprises in this store.
The chicken is the best food here. For the sides I like their coleslaw and of course the apple pie for sweets. when you are lucky, they give out samples to taste. I was able to taste their rice and it was really good. The rice alone is will make you full as it is has lots of chicken bits and vegetables in it.
The store is simple not much of decorations but no dust either. The washrooms are clean and the dining is clean too. I was there on a lunch hour and i saw that after the rush, they immediately sweep the dining. people are okay.
My family craves for church's chicken. Its crispy skin is a dream. the fries are real potatoes..crispy outside and soft inside and when you dip it with gravy hmmmm....the store is clean even their windows are shining. and yes...the washrooms are clean. people are respectful you would see how educated they are by the way they converse and address the customers.
I just love church's chicken here in 108. I am a regular customer here (5 or 6 years). This was just recommended to me by a friend of my friend who has a friend working here. The food is always served clean, their tables are sanitize...i can see her spraying lysol on it, and most of all they give you fresh food.

i'm a chicken lover and this is one of the best chicken i've tasted. it has a simple taste...i can even cook it almost the same way....but for eating out church's chicken in 108 is what i like. it is hot and fresh and crispy just the way i want it. i never fail to come here when i am visiting.
chicken here taste good. it is hot and crispy and their hot spicy wings are great though you have to wait 8 minutes if you want to get it really fresh from the stove. and amazing...this place has wetnaps if you dont want to wash your hands.

This is the best and cleanest restaurant compare to other church's chicken branches. They always smile and they are all very friendly.
so tasty you will eat everything but the bones. rice is so good so many chicken bits and vegetables that you dont need any viand with it. their bombers are also very good.
the staff are friendly and funny. the trays are clean and not greasy...you can see they really wash it. their tables are not only wiped but sanitized and the washrooms are really very clean...2 thumbs and 2 toes up!
chicken has the right taste and is cooked well. i like it because it is not salty unlike in other fast foods. you know it is fresh and just not reheated because you can see it being cooked in front of you. the staff are friendly and easy to talk to. they try to give the customer's preference. Like when i order my chicken breast sandwich, i specifically ask them to put the sauce for the spicy chicken sandwich and they do it even if they have to do it differently.

Words can't express what I feel, it must've been LOVE AT FIRST BITE. The chicken and staff members of 108th ave are the best! more than best! I never want to leave this store because of the very friendly staff, but they serve me so quickly, like lightning, grease lightning. But their chicken aren’t greasy! Going to this place, eating their fresh chicken and being served by their super cool staff always makes my day. It’s like a dream come true.

chicken at church's 108 is unforgettable. every now and then fresh chicken comes out of their stove sliding through the racks in front of your very eyes. it smells fresh and clean.

Hey Ate Eleanor. Thanks for the Church's chicken pasalubong you sent. We always wait for relatives from there to come with your chicken. She seals it so well in tinfoil inside the ziploc with duct tape all over. when we open it mmmmmmmmmthe fresh smell of chicken pops out...then bake it a few minutes and out comes fresh chicken from church's 108.
chicken is worth its price...good chicken ..good price...large servings...people warm and friendly....place very clean

how did i become a regular in 108? traffic at 108 i turned left and there was no drive through so had to go down and catch something...the lady suggested chicken legs as it is easier to eat in the car and hot fries...the friendly staff stayed in my mind...and oh she said though they dont have a drive thru they have the only walk thru window in surrey.
when your wife is busy shopping at nearby liquidation, there is nothing better to do but sit down and relax reading metro at church's chicken chomping hot fries with a 2 minute wait for coffee.people dont frown at you even if you are there almost asleep.
chicken is hot and fresh but what i remember i began coming back is the friendliness of the people. i was so hungry that day and a bit in a foul mood. i complained to the lady how small the pieces were...no questions asked she just gave me a smile and exchanged my chicken bones for an extra piece. am a fan of this location now....though you cant complain anymore if you are friends with them.

this location has the best chicken in surrey. i go to other branches but the flavor of the chicken here has a fresh taste and it is not salty unlike in their other branch. people here looks clean and i have this belief that when the people who works in a restaurant are clean then they also work cleanly.

it was actually my first time to eat at any church's chicken. my friends and i ate at 108 ave church's for lunch. i find the place to be very clean, a place whre you can relax and truly enjoy what youre eating. the staff there were very friendly. and they really know how to please their customers.
i did not know what to order, and the one taking my order was truly patient with me (even though the place was a bit busy), i wasnt rushed nor pressured to order. that staff member really helped me decide what to get. and i really loved the food!!! i might probably go back there again tomorrow and order the same thing! truly a very great experience for me and for my friends. yummy chicken!! im actually craving right now for another church's chicken. this restaurant truly deserves a 5/5 stars!! good job!

though i live in vancouver, i still go to 108 to buy chicken because i know how clean food is prepared here. i should know as i use to work there. tita eleanor though you see her smile as if there is no problem she is really very strict.she checks the cooler if the water is clean and salt is in exact measurement. she is very particular in holding times meaning exactly 45 minutes all chicken had been replaced with new ones...etc...that is why chicken here really tastes good! they follow procedures by the book.
I find this branch very friendly with all the staff serving the clients with a smile especially Clem Anos. The place is clean as how we expect a food place should be. Their chicken is always fresh & we enjoy our Church;s chicken each time.
i like this particular branch(church's 108) as the staff is so helpful. i buy chicken by the boxes for potluck in church as well as large macaroni salads and french fries. eleanor gives me the best deal because she knows i am a regular customer. her understanding and consideration is what makes me go back again and again in this branch. Their Chicken is lusciously good. Definitely D' Best Chicken Eva! CRISPYLICIOUS! and JUICYLICIOUS! It's a perfectly seasoned fried chicken thats crispy on the outside: tender and juicy on the inside.
